The South African Weather Service has forecast fine and warm to hot temperatures for most of the country, with morning and evening fog expected in some regions.
Fire danger warnings
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Walter Sisulu and Enoch Mgijima local municipalities in the Eastern Cape and in areas of the Vhembe and Mopani district municipalities in Limpopo.

Mpumalanga can expect fine and cool to warm temperatures but it will be hot in the Lowveld.
Fine and warm to hot conditions are expected for Limpopo and the North West.
The Northern Cape can expect partly cloudy conditions in the east with morning fog patches along the coast.
Otherwise, it will be fine, windy and warm to hot.
The wind along the coast will be light and variable in the north, becoming a light to moderate south to south-easterly from the afternoon.
Morning and evening fog is forecast for the Western Cape's west coast with cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm conditions expected.
It will become fine in the central interior from the afternoon.
The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate north-easterly, but moderate to fresh along the south west coast.
Winds will become light to moderate west to south-westerly along the west, but an easterly is forecast along the south from the evening.

The western half of the Eastern Cape will have morning fog patches in places in the south-east. Otherwise, fine and cool to warm conditions are forecast, but it will be partly cloudy in places (see fire warnings above).
The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate south-westerly, but light and variable in places in the morning and evening.
Partly cloudy conditions are expected for the eastern half of the province, otherwise it will be fine and cool to warm, but windy in the north.
It will become cloudy south of the escarpment by the late afternoon with drizzle along the Wild Coast from evening.
The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh south-westerly, becoming light and variable from the evening.
KwaZulu-Natal will have morning fog patches in places over the north-eastern interior. Otherwise, fine and warm temperatures are forecast but it will be hot in places in the north.
The wind along the coast will be a moderate northerly to north-easterly, becoming a southerly to south-westerly wind from the south by mid-morning and spreading to the north by afternoon.
