The 2019 elections saw the ANC secure 2.4 million votes in Gauteng; it believes it can increase that support by about 1.8%.
ANC Gauteng secretary, TK Nciza, told News24, on the sidelines of the IEC's code of conduct signing ceremony, that he would not reveal the party's strategy, but internal polling showed the ANC could secure 55% - an outright majority.
