The ANC is using its majority in Parliament to try and dim the light that has revealed political party funding since April 2021. President Cyril Ramaphosa must do the right thing and send the Electoral Amendment Bill back for consultation, writes Adriaan Basson. 

It would have been a massive surprise if it wasn't so transparent; that is the ANC's desperate, last-ditch attempt to steamroll a piece of legislation through Parliament that would give the party millions of rands more – and hide its donors from public scrutiny.
