IN a surprising turn of events, an oversight visit has revealed that the Sedibeng District Municipality's mayor, Lerato Maloka, is embroiled in a controversy over a costly, unwanted, and malfunctioning vehicle.
The vehicle is allegedly concealed at the Vaal Technorama Museum in Vereeniging.
Despite the Sedibeng District facing severe financial constraints and service delivery challenges, Mayor Maloka allegedly insisted on a lavish R700 000 vehicle.
