GOGO Julia Miyeni has found herself in a desperate situation, thanks to sewage flowing into her yard.
The 71-year-old from Migard Village in Limpopo said the sewage has been flowing into her yard for almost five years and is now starting to affect her "stop nonsense" wall, which is almost collapsing.
She said she is not sure of the source of the sewage, but the continuous overflow into her yard has not only become a health hazard but also jeopardises the structural integrity of her wall.
Although the Vhembe District Municipality fixed the sewage problem, gogo Julia told Daily Sun she now hates her home because of the bad smell that still lingers.

"The sewage posed a health risk to me, and my family and they fixed it. Now, my stop nonsense wall is about to fall. I'm calling on the municipality to rebuild it as I no longer have money. I depend on the Sassa grant,” she said.
Gogo Julia said she also fears for her safety and that of her family.
"I was going to sue the municipality, if I had money and a lawyer as this hurts me every day. Another problem is when I try to employ people to clean or sweep my yard, they refuse because the place still smells bad," she said.
Called for comment, Vhembe District Municipality spokesman Matodzi Ralushai said: "The matter concerning Ms Julia Miyeni will be attended to with the urgency it deserves."
