GAGASI FM DJ and comedian Felix Hlophe vows not to cheat on his diet.

GAGASI FM DJ and comedian Felix Hlophe vowed not to cheat on his diet.

This is because he doesn't want to die due to his alleged unhealthy eating habits.

Hlophe almost died in 2021 when he fainted twice in studio.

At the time, he revealed that sometimes he would faint and wake up in hospital.

He then decided to start a new lifestyle.

"Doctors said different things as courses for my fainting. But I understood that I wasn't resting. I worked as a radio DJ, comedian an MC and any other staff.

“Although that might have influenced my health scare, I realised I wasn't eating healthly. So since then, I thought if I didn't take care of myself, I was going to die,” he said.

"That's when I decided to change my diet. I started eating healthy food with less fat, and do body exercises every now and then."

Felix said since he changed his eating habits, he hadn't experienced any health issues.

The Gagasi FM breakfast show DJ said he won't cheat on the diet.

"My life is in my hands. If I cheat, that will mean I'm not serious about my family and health. My family wants to see me healthy and strong, and that makes them happy. I can never cheat because I'm afraid that by doing so, the worse thing than fainting could happen.

"I understand that most healthy food is expensive, some is not so delicious, but that doesn't matter as long as I'm healthy. Sometimes as an entertainer, I attend shows and events, where there's a variety of food. Believe me if I say, sometimes I get tempted but hold myself. Because I know that temptation can lead to disaster. I feel fresh and healthy now," Felix said.
