Fill up on fibre

As the weather gets colder, we sometimes eat fewer salads and fruits; so keep your fibre intake up by including warm fibre-rich foods such as:

  • oats porridge for breakfast or high-fibre cereals with warm, low-fat milk
  • toasted seed bread with various low-fat toppings
  • wholewheat pasta in dishes
  • lentils or beans in stews and soups
  • cooked bakes or roasts that include a variety of vegetables with your chicken or fish
  • stewed dried fruit with custard for desserts

High fibre foods also keep you fuller for longer.
