Q.

when should the foreskin be fully retractable

Good day Doctor, my son is 3 years and 6 months old. His foreskin is not yet retractable, we try to retract the skin but without success. When should the skin be fully rectractable and when should we see a doctor?

Do not try to push your son’s foreskin up. As long as he can pass urine normally there is no need for any concern about his foreskin. It will retract normally by itself with time. Only if his foreskin is tight and interferes with him passing urine is there any need for concern. If this is the case ask your paediatrician to see your son.
