Q.

Sore feet

Good day doctor. My 6 year old daughter is complaining about sore feet the past 4 days. She walk normal.at night its worst then during the day. Should I be concerned. Regards Emsie

Yes, you should always take notice when a child has such a specific and rather unusual complaint such as this. The most common cause for this complaint is flat feet. Another cause is a condition known as Sever's Disease (Google this) which is due to inflammation of the bones of the heels. It would be best to ask your paediatrician to see your daughter and if it is thought to be necessary she may have to be seen by a paediatric orthopaedic expert.
