Q.

baby weight worrying

Good Day Dr My baby girl was born at 37 weeks she was 3.2kg but now I think she is not picking enough weight because at 4 months she was 5.3kg and now she is 6 months weighing 6.45kg. she is been using S26 gold since birth and now recently started with solid food but she never had any problem with constipation or loose stools I think S26 Gold is good for her. Is there anything I can do at least to gain a bit of weight or she is fine because she is very tall for her age length 12.5 head 40cm. Thank you for your response in advance.

You have given all the necessary information here which helps a lot. The important thing is that your baby girl’s birth weight was really good for a baby born at 37 weeks. The other information vwhich is important is that she is tall and has a normal head circumference. Her corrected weight for a baby girl who is actually just over 5 months corrected age is normal. So continue with her present formula and solids as she is doing really well.
