Q.

AR to AR digest

My 9 week old baby has silent reflux since week 1. He is on Nexium teice a day, ulsanic before every feed, probiatics and pegicol. He is formula fed since birth. He tried lots of formula but the Novalac AR seems to work the best. Our sister told us to start the digest because he still have reflux. The digest works wonders for his reflux. Nothing comes out at all, but he seems to have bad cramps and struggling to feed? Should I use the digest or stick to AR?

Your baby's cramps are caused by the thickener in the formula. You should definitely go back to the Novalac AR formula which he tolerated so well.
