Apologies for the delay but my emails were diverted without my knowledge. Not being able to sleep during a period of anxiety is quite normal. During this time treatment with either an anti-anxiety medication or a hypnotic for a snort period is appropriate. If you only take a tablet for a 10 day period only you are unlikely to get addicted to them. During the period when you are not anxious don't take medication. It is also important to recognise how much sleep you really need - it may be less than you think especially during periods of anxiety, So go to bed a little later but still wake up early. This process will improve your sleep.
