Q.

Chronic pain from sinusitis

I have had a deviated septum which I had repaired in 2004. Last year in January I fell during the night and hit my nose against the door frame. I also have a septal perforation in the right nostril. Ever since then I have suffered with severe, ongoing pain and discomfort. I use Flonase nasal spray and a saline nasal spray daily which has definitely improved my symptoms, however on stopping my treatment for about 4 days two weeks ago, my symptoms have worsened. I have now been using Flonase nasules, Flonase nasal spray and saline nasal spray and my symptoms are not improving. My nose feels like there is a hard rock inside it from the crusting. I have headaches, tooth pain, sore throat (post nasal drip), body aches, earache and a general feeling of malaise/feeling unwell. This impacts severely on my day to day living. What is the answer? I live on Adco-Dol for the pain.
