Q.

Why do women shrink as they age?

I became shorter as I got older. Why. What is the cause thereof. I also had a very bad spasma in my back it is better but feels if somebody punch me with his fist into my ribs

Dear Hetta

If you have osteoporosis and the bones become thinner, the vertebrae become compressed and you lose height. It can also be a fractured vertebra that is causing your pain - please let your doctor have a look and and have some x-rays done to exclude/confirm a fracture.
