Q.

Drops of smelly urine

Hi Doc I'm 40 years old, just had total hysterectomy(cervix, fallopian tubes removed, left with 1 ovary) 6 weeks ago, lately noticed that I have drops of urine which is voluntarily comes out and not smelling good. I consulted my Gynae about this and he said there's nothing to worry about. I am certainly not comfortable wearing pads 24/7 of my life, and cannot ignore because it's starting to embarrass me. Am I worrying for nothing here?

Dear TL

I would suggest seeing a urologist for an opinion.
From what you are describing, you may have a urinart tract infection, but you need an assessment.
Kind regards
Prenevin
