Q.

Teen soiling pants

Good day. My son is 16 yr old. He still soils and wet his pants every day. He was seen by various specialists, psychiatrists, psychologists. Most recommend medication for constipatiion, but he doesnt have constipation....he says he realizes it to late, that he needed to go to the toilet. No one were able to help us. Is there any tests that can be done to detect the reason for this problem? Any advise would be helpfull.

He needs an assessment by a colorectal surgeon and a urologist.

If it has not already been done, an MRI of his lumbosacral spine would be  very helpful to exclude a tethered spinal cord.
Kind regards
