I am having incontinence diagnosis Fears, how should I approach my doctor?

Hi Dr. Govender, I have been suffering from urinary incontinence for most of my life but haven't had it properly diagnosed even though I have seen many specialists and doctors, I am afraid to go to the doctor from previous negative I have been told by a Urologist that my bladder is healthy, and that my incontinence may be related to my mental health and early childhood trauma. I have a big fear of needles and don't want to do any tests or procedures that involve them, and don't want to do any tests that I don't have to, given that I have done many tests over my life and have had no benefit. How do I go about getting diagnosed with these fears in mind?

Dear Isa

Perhaps a visit to a physiotherapist with an interest in Pelvic floor and incontinence, would be a good first step.
Kind regards
