Q.

Clogged ear

The symptoms of my clogged ear has gotten so severe to the point that I'm worried that perminit damage is occurring. I went to the ER and they gave me amox-clav 500 with nasal spray, as they said there is fluid behind the eardrum.. I don't have a cold or anything of such, there is no wax, no drainage, and no pain to the touch. There is lots of pressure with severe dizziness and pain associated with it from the pressure to the point I'm sick. I feel like I'm going to pass out... what should I do?

See if the antibiotics work - it is probably going to alleviate some pressure, but its unlikely to remove all the fluid unfortunately.  Your best bet is to see an Ear Nose and Throat surgeon who will be able to either make a small incision into the eardrum to immediately alleviate the pressure / fluid build up, or place a grommet into the ear drum to allow instant relief.  Good luck!
