Q.

Mild ear problems and tension in my head

I have a mild pressure in my ears, sometimes I get flare ups, where it itches, aches and hums, sometimes it reduces with a very mild pressure, like air trapped in my ear. I had it for about a year now. Had nasal sprays to reduce inflammation from the sinuses and drain fluid from ears, but it didn't work. Tried popping my ears, it doesn't work. Sometimes I get an episode of low volume, ringing in the ear and feel lightheaded. I also have tension headaches behind the nose and in the ear. When I drive, play video games, read, walk in a shop, I get annoying tension feelings behind eyes and inside the ear. Tried ibrupofen, it doesn't work. The feeling is so mild right now, so unsure if it's worth getting checked or should I try some over the counter meds or other ways first.

Hi Joah

You may need to see an ENT, and he may want to physically clear the ears from the fluid.
