Q.

I am worried that I am going deaf in one ear

Hi, I have blockage in my right ear and I think it is due to ear wax build up. I went to the GP in the summer because my ears were ringing as I went to a loud party the previous day. He looked in my ears but told me that he could not see anything because there was too much earwax. But I didn't get it cleaned out then as my hearing was fine. But now I wish I did due to the blockage in my ear. I can still hear in that ear but it is muffled. I am trying to get an appointment this week so the nurses can clean my ears, but I am nervous about if this will unblock my ear.

Start with one thing at a time, get the wax removed, then have your hearing tested!
