Babies from newborn - 6 months must get a No 1 formula. They are all the same by the way so your choice will be determined by your budget. If baby has a specific problem then the doctor or nurse clinician may recommend a special formul, otherwise choose one that works for you. Do remember to mix the formula exactly as prescribed on the tin and it is always water first, then the formula powder. Baby bottles must be perfectly sterilized or else baby will get diarrhea and/or oral thrush. Wash the bottles with warm water an dishwashing liquid. Then rinse and boil for 15 minutes. Or use a microwave steriliser. This is VERY important
