Hi

Diabetes per se doesn't cause leg swelling
Leg swelling can occur secondary to medication, kidney or heart problems, being overweight, or if you have arthritis in the legs. If it it one sided then it could be secondary to a blood clot. It can also sometimes occur after long flights, or in hot weather. To sort out the cause, you will need to see your doctor
