Are certain cancers more common in diabetics?

After finding out in 2014 I'm diabetic I was informed about certain types of cancer I notice more among diabetics compared to the general population/bladder kidney and pancreatic. Then I shockingly found out comic Jack Benny Chicago Cubs 3B Ron Santo and Perry Mason star Raymond Burr were diabetic! Benny succumbed to pancreatic cancer Burr died of kidney cancer and Santo died of bladder cancer. Were these three performers cancers diabetes related?

There is an increased risk of cancer with Type 2 diabetes, and the most common cancers are:pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, endometrial cancer. There is also a smaller increased risk of colorectal cancer, bladder cancer, breast cancer ,and blood cancers (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma)
