Q.

I have type 2 diabetes

When I relax at night, I get fits in my sleep every night my arms go all lame and shake, and it feels like my whole bodies muscles go in a spasm. Is this normal for a person with diabetes, it has been happening since I have got Diabetes a year ago last year May. Please advise as I have this happening to me every night and is very concerning and sore as well.

Hi

Mechanistically I can't explain it from a diabetes point of view, unless you are having hypos. Hypos can be tested for when you are having the symptoms. You could also try some magnesium
