Q.

Diabetes fear

For a non diabetic person he eats more food like meat, eggs, fruits, dry fruits for a few days (e.g. 1mimth) and after that eat less for some days after that. Again after few days eat more food for some days and so on. This eating more for some days and less for some days causes diabetes. The worry that comes in my is that may be it causes sugar level to increase and decrease and can cause problem or it is just a worry its not like that?

Risk factors for type 2 diabetes are 1) being overweight 2) a family history of diabetes 3) high blood pressure 4) raised cholesterol 5) or polycystic ovarian syndrome 6) previous diabetes in pregnancy. The above eating pattern has not been shown to increase the risk of diabetes
