Are there any BP meds that DON'T cause a cough

I have a persistent cough for years.

Yes.  The ones that cause cough are called ACE inhibitors.  It's only a single class that causes cough.  Not all blood pressure medications cause cough.  If you think that you blood pressure medication might be causing a causing a cough, check with your doctor.  They will easily be able to change the class of blood pressure medication.
