Help! I stop breathing while asleep

my wife says I stop breathing for up to 25 counts while I am sleeping.

Sounds like you have obstructive sleep apnea. It's very important that you go and see a sleep specialist (usually a pulmonologist) who can order a sleep study. The treatment is to use a special mast for a few hours at night. Untreated this will reduce your lifespan and greatly increase the chance of high blood pressure and having a stroke. Therefore it's important you get it seen to.
