Absent periods

I had an early (5 1/2 weeks) miscarriage in July, had a normal period in September. Slight spotting in October (1/2 day of spotting). I want to become pregnant. I have seen my GP and he can think of no reasons that I shouldn't be having a normal period. I am waiting for the appointment with the specialist, but in the mean time can you think of any reasons that I wouldn't be getting a period?
