Lower left abdominal pain

Hi doc I'm 38 years old. 2 kids. Husband had a vasectomy so definitely no pregnant issues. Not on any contraceptives. Lately I have started having lower left abdominal pain. Its worse when I urinate daily and excruciating when I urinate during my period. The daily pain is manageable. I know its' there but doesn't bother too much. But when I get my period, its like hold on tight kind of thing just to pee. I also have about 2 weeks of very very light bleeding before period. Hardly noticeable until you go pee and wipe. Actual period whack my socks off when it arrives finally. I am going to try book an appointment soon. Just thought I would as here as well. Thank you

It sounds like you need a gynae check-up. Endometriosis, ovarian cysts, uterine problems can all cause these symptoms.

Best wishes
