Liverpool have now officially announced the departures of two stars.

The Reds have confirmed that 32-year-old centre-back Joel Matip and midfielder Thiago will part ways with the club at the end of the season as free agents.

Along with head coach Jurgen Klopp, the former Cameroon international and Spaniard will bid farewell to Anfield this weekend.
Matip amassed 201 appearances for Liverpool over the course of his eight years in England, winning multiple trophies along the way. The defender will leave the Reds having lifted both the UEFA Champions League and Premier League trophies.

Injuries saw that Matip was able to play only 14 times for Liverpool across all competitions this season, with his last league appearances coming in December. Thiago, meanwhile, will move on after 98 appearances.
