SULKESI Ndaba is passionate about making movies.
The filmmaker from Joburg is currently working on a true story comedy titled iCebo. He is filming it at his home in Bergville, KZN.
As an actor, producer, scriptwriter, and director, Sulkesi promises a mix of thrills, education, and humour in this unique comedy. His portfolio includes films like Ukungazi, Inkanuko, Imvelaphi, and Spoiled Brat, among others.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Sulkesi was excited about his latest project. He believes the film won't only entertain but also surprise audiences.
"This comedy is bound to leave viewers laughing uncontrollably. It's also quite shocking because it challenges the principle of Ubuntu by depicting sons driving chasing their stepfather away from home," he explained.
The filming of iCebo began in February 2024, following the initial part shot in 2014. Sulkesi anticipates releasing the comedy in July. Despite financial constraints slowing down production, his dedication to filmmaking is unwavering.

"Making movies is my calling. I didn't study filmmaking. It's a passion that comes from deep within me," Sulkesi shared.
His work is distributed through SABC1 and DStv's Mzansi Magic, highlighting his commitment and passion to the film industry.
