Q.

Recessive gums

Hi there, I feel that my gums might be receding. My teeth are very sensitive and toothpaste does not work. What can I do to treat this? I also grind my teeth and clench my jaw in my sleep - do I need to get a mouth/gum guard from the dentist? What will treat recessive gums?? Please help!

Recession could be due to gum disease or abrasive brushing. A gum guard will help with the grinding. see your dentist for a diagnosis and treatment of the recession
