Q.

Have you ever seen a 6 month negative turn positive at later stage?

Have you ever seen a 6 month negative turn positive at later stage given the fact that no further exposures have taken place because a virologist told me that obe needs to test till 1 year with antibidy test and also proviral dna pcr to be 100 percent sure? Please give your answer about all queries

No I have not seen a test that was negative at six months turn positive at a later stage. If there is no further exposure then that test will stay negative. The test at six months is conclusive. There is no need to do a proviral DNA PCR test. It is an expensive test and we reserve it for testing children below 18 months of age or for exceptional circumstances
