In bizarre events outside the entrance to the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, early on Friday, World No 1 Scottie Scheffler was arrested prior to the start of the second round of the PGA Championship.

The Louisville Metro Police had been dealing with traffic congestion caused by accident earlier on Friday morning, which Scheffler was not involved in, in which a pedestrian was killed by a vehicle.
