Following a myriad delays, the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria has drawn a line in the sand, ordering a trial date be set for former Crime Intelligence (CI) boss Richard Mdluli's fraud and corruption case.
This is irrespective of whether his review application on the police's decision to refuse him legal finding has been finalised.
Mdluli and his co-accused, former CI supply chain manager Heine Barnard and former CI chief financial officer Solomon Lazarus, are set to appear in court again on 10 June, where a trial date is expected to be set.
