As police hunt down the people behind a mass shooting in Willowvale, Eastern Cape, which left seven dead, community leaders say the victims were strangers in the Nxanxashe village.
Local traditional leader in the area, Chief Landisile Miti, said the deceased were not known to locals in the village. He said their bodies were discovered along a road in the village.
"We don't know them. We don't even know their relatives. It is so shocking to us that such [a] horrific incident would be committed in our area," he said.
