Rise Mzansi leader Songezo Zibi and the party's three premier candidates have signed a pledge or "contract" with the people of South Africa that will guide them if they are elected to Parliament or legislatures after the 29 May elections.
Zibi, Western Cape premier candidate Axolile Notywala, Gauteng premier candidate Vuyiswa Ramokgopa, and KwaZulu-Natal premier candidate Nonkululeko Hlongwane-Mhlongo signed the pledge on Sunday at Rumsig Stadium in Johannesburg, where Rise Mzansi held its last rally.
Addressing the crowd of mostly young people, Zibi said every party candidate that Rise Mzansi was sending to Parliament and legislatures would make the pledge.
