Familia Torres has been the world's most admired wine brand five times (2022, 2021, 2018, 2017), according to Drinks Business (an international wine publication).

There are 14 editions of the World's Most Admired Wine Brand List, though South African wine brands only started cracking a nod in 2017 and have included Nederburg, KWV, Tokara, and Bruce Jack through the years.

In 2022, Kanonkop was named most admired in Africa and the Middle East at number 15 but slipped to number 43 in 2023, with KWV attaining 38, Nederburg 45, and Bruce Jack 29 of the South African brands that year.
