Consuming too much alcohol in a short period of time can have severe health consequences, and be potentially fatal.

After this allegedly happened to a man in Limpopo this past weekend, an expert wants the public to be more informed about the dangers of this public health issue. 

According to News24, the man drank a whole bottle of alcohol, without pausing, in under two minutes before passing out. He had participated in a drinking competition for a cash prize of R200 in a liquor outlet in Mashamba Village, Limpopo.
