Although more than 3.8 billion doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in 180 countries to date, it still isn't enough to end the pandemic.

Vaccine hesitancy remains a global problem.

A research review published in The BMJ in April 2021 noted that only 50% to 60% of people were willing to take the shot in certain countries.
