While a protest is already being arranged for former president Jacob Zuma’s second appearance in court in Pietermaritzburg on August 10, the role of his loyalists in last month’s riots and looting is becoming clearer, and police are worried that a large amount of stolen ammunition could be used in renewed attacks in the province.
