There’s a lot of truth behind the saying: “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” You may think it’s okay, but skipping breakfast just isn’t a good idea.

Research shows that, when people skip breakfast, they get hungry long before lunchtime. As a result, they then snack on foods high in fat and sugar, and low in vitamins and minerals. What’s more, breakfast eaters are significantly less likely to be obese and their risk for diabetes is lower.
