The symptoms of hepatitis B already described in ‘Symptoms’ would require a visit to the doctor. The following are potentially serious symptoms which definitely require immediate attention.
• extreme drowsiness, confusion or restlessness
• unusual bruising or bleeding
• jaundice continuing for longer than three weeks
