In May 2010 Health24 reached a very significant milestone: over 250 000 questions asked and answered on the expert forums. At that time the Health24 platform was hosting 34 experts, all of whom were active.
By the time you read this we'll have increased the number of experts available to 50, and the chances of us reaching the next 100 000 questions in half the time have become very good.
Health24's Expert forums were born in 2001, starting with three pioneer professionals: DietDoc, Cybershrink and Pharmacist. It wasn't long before Sexologist and CyberDoc were brought on board, but it didn't stop there.
The next vital additions were GynaeDoc and the Paediatrician. Since then the Expert section has grown to include many other medical specialists.
Besides being a quick and free medical advice resource, we've expanded the service to help you prevent illness by developing a healthy lifestyle. Recognising that stress management plays a big role in maintaining good health, you'll find the Behaviour Modification expert alongside Reflexology , and below that the Yoga expert.
It's all there – everything from sleep, fertility, dental care, diet, exercise, sexual health, disability, emotional issues to child and even pet health are covered by the Health24 experts. Write in and ask them.
