During pregnancy it’s important to eat nutritious foods, but there are also some high risk foods which should be avoided because they could cause food poisoning.
Severe food poisoning could be dangerous to you and your baby. Foods best to avoid are soft, mouldy cheeses such as brie, camembert & Roquefort; undercooked meat and raw fish or sushi.
All vegetables, fruit and salad ingredients should be rinsed in salty water and then clean water before cooked or eaten raw.
