Another good reason to eat oysters

Did you know that oysters, a favourite aphrodisiac, are also a good source of calcium? While there are plenty of good reasons to include these sea delicacies in your diet, oysters affected by red tide can be dangerous.

Take action:


Be aware of red tide warnings and never eat oysters (or other shellfish) that originated from the affected area during this time. Red tides usually occur during summer and autumn, but may occur at any time of the year. An obvious sign to look out for is discoloration of the water.
