Do you dread flying because of ear pain during the flight? Chewing gum or sucking on a sweet during takeoff and landing will prevent a difference in pressure.

When travelling with babies, allowing them to suck on a dummy or bottle will help. Try not to sleep during descent as this might exacerbate ear pain.
