We recently polled our Facebook followers about how their children react to the common ADHD meds Concerta and Ritalin.

We had many responses, reporting from weight loss, insomnia and stroke (one child), to better focus and performance improvements school – both academically and socially. Health24’s ADHD expert says that it’s unfortunate that the side effects take weeks, and in some cases, months, to dissipate.

One needs to keep in mind, though, that the long-term results of taking ADHD meds may be of great benefit.
