Action point

Many children with ADHD have a weaker working memory (recalling previously learned information, holding on to the information, and manipulating it).

This means they may not be able to capture all the salient facts on paper during class, causing undue stress when they study for tests.

To overcome this, ask your child's teachers to provide them with class notes after each lesson.

Head on over to our ADHD Centre for more on managing the condition.
