Wear a helmet while cycling

If you’re still not convinced that wearing a helmet while cycling is a good idea, a new survey evaluating the results of over 40 different studies on the matter should change your mind. In conducting their comprehensive review of data from more than 64,000 cyclists, two researchers from the University of New South Wales in Australia found that using a helmet when riding a bicycle lowers the risks of serious head injuries by almost 70%. They estimate that chances of fatal head injuries are reduced by 65%.
